As one of the leading mill-independent service providers, producers and distributors for steel and aluminium, we offer our customers not only a comprehensive distribution network thanks to our decentralised structure, but also an extensive product portfolio.

The product ranges, expertise and logistics capacities of the Steel Service Centres, our blanking line facilities and the Benelux sales office form the Steel Service division.

The activities of Knauf Interfer Cold Rolling and the newly integrated companies Knauf Interfer Galvanising GmbH & Co. KG (formerly H.D. Bandverzinkung GmbH & Co. KG) and Knauf Interfer Galvano GmbH & Co. KG (formerly Galvano Gesellschaft Brückmann mbH & Co. KG) are merged into the Functional Metals division.

This has significantly expanded our portfolio in the area of strip finishing.

Functional Metals

The Functional Metals division comprises the activities of Knauf Interfer Cold Rolling, which is known for the production of cold-rolled precision steel in a wide range of grades at our Giebel plant and already has many years of refining expertise.

Together with the high-performance locations and production facilities of the H.D. Lenzen Group, a leading supplier of electrolytically galvanised precision strip steel, we now offer our customers an even more comprehensive range of products and services in the field of surface finishing.
